Eva is an award winning film director and producer currently based between New York City and Austin, TX. Working across narrative and non-fiction forms, she is inspired by the diverse range of stories found in the communities around her. Eva’s films have screened at the Tallgrass Film Festival, Santa Fe International Film Festival, Annapolis Film Festival, FilmColumbia Film Festival, Art of Brooklyn Film Festival and Brooklyn Sci Fi Film Festival, among others.

Eva holds an MFA in Film & Media Production from the University of Texas at Austin and B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology from Earlham College. Prior to pursuing her career as a filmmaker, she worked as an immigrant rights organizer in New Jersey. She continues to center advocacy and community led narratives in her work.

Eva supports other filmmakers in bringing their visions to life as a producer and casting director. She also produces and edits digital spots for a range of non-profit and political clients.
